The shop minimum is $100.

All work is guaranteed. The artists will touch up your tattoo, if needed, after the tattoo is fully healed for a minimum of 6 weeks.

A touch-up will be provided at no charge by the artist who did the tattoo. This is contingent on whether proper aftercare treatment was followed.

Tattoo costs are quoted based on an hourly rate. The final cost is subject to change based on the detail of the design, size, and how well the client sits during the tattoo. These factors can affect how long the tattoo takes to complete, making the final cost subject to change. If you have a specific budget let us know and we will be happy to work with you. **There is no set tipping standard, but tips are always appreciated

We welcome friends & family for moral support. We prefer you keep it to one person. During busy hours, guests may be asked to wait in the lobby.

For safety reasons we do not allow minors or children in the studio; this includes infants.

You must be 18 or older to be tattooed at Benchmark Tattoo. We require valid identification for every individual that is to be tattooed. This is a MN state law.

No exceptions will be made.

Artists book their own appointments. Please follow their preferred methods underneath their profile.

We are a cash preferred shop. When using a credit/debit card in store or online there is a 5% service fee.

To avoid this fee please pay for deposits and tattoos in cash.

The artists of Benchmark do not send out art before your tattoo appointment. Instead of sending out art, the artist will have art ready for you to view at the time of your tattoo appointment. You will have the opportunity to look at the art and talk to your artist about it before starting your tattoo.

We happily accept walk-ins, but there is no guarantee for same day appointments. This is dependent on artist’s availability for that day. If we cannot accommodate you at that time, we will assist you in booking an appointment for a future date.

Benchmark is a custom art focused shop. We welcome you to bring any ideas, drawings, or inspirations. This will help our artist gain a better understanding of what our you would like your completed tattoo to look like. Please note: the artists will not duplicate any other artist’s work. Instead, they will use your examples to guide them when drawing your custom tattoo.

Artists also have original flash designs available for walk-ins or appointments.

We do not currently offer piercing or cosmetic tattoo services.
